Stephen Craig is a professional DJ, MC, event producer, and A/V specialist based in the South Carolina Grand Strand. With more than 15 years of professional experience in the entertainment and event-production industry, Stephen has built his career around one simple philosophy: an event should be more than something people attend. It should be something they experience.
Stephen's journey into professional DJing began in 2010, when he started as a DJ apprentice under the established wedding DJ Alan Dodson in the Bristol, Tennessee.
That experience gave him an opportunity to learn the business from the ground up, from music selection and crowd interaction to wedding timelines, MC responsibilities, event preparation, equipment, and the countless details that happen behind the scenes to make an event run smoothly.
After gaining experience working alongside an established professional and assisting in managing local bridal shows, Stephen began taking on his own events.
In 2013, he launched his professional DJ and MC services in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
As a wedding DJ and MC, Stephen places a strong emphasis on preparation.
Rather than simply showing up with a playlist, he works with couples before their wedding to understand their personalities, musical preferences, timeline, important moments, and vision for the celebration.
His approach combines music programming with professional MC services, allowing him to help guide guests through the evening while keeping the reception moving naturally.

DJ Stephen Craig was the perfect emcee and DJ for our wedding reception! I knew immediately that Stephen would go out of his way to make sure our night was epic when communicating with Stephen prior to our wedding about various ideas and details. I also paid extra for Stephen to bring the wireless audio setup, dance floor lighting, and the photobooth - which was a hit for our guests!! Wow Stephen was incredible!!! I had made a top 40 playlist and of course he played every single song. He kept the party going the entire night! When a song was requested he didn't hesitate to play it. I also had him do my wedding ceremony and there was no errors!! We also purchased a photo booth for the reception and it was the hit of the night. He brought photo props and a book for my guests to display their pictures with a nice little note for my husband and I . I HIGHLY recommend him if you're needing a DJ for any event! Literally the best DJ ever. This guy MADE our whole wedding! His DJ skills are off the charts, his personality was amazing, he was the most helpful vendor of all! He played awesome music, got the crowd going, organized games, and even had time to to calm down my husband who was nervous about being nervous!!!! LOL! Stephen Craig is just an all around talented and great guy. We could have not picked a better option.
We hired Stephen Craig for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and he was fantastic. He played a variation of music that every one could dance to. I know that he has DJ'd for a variety of functions at Tuscany and everyone is quite pleased. And I know for a fact that he will be the DJ for the Blue Star Mothers "Christmas in July" Party.
