Terms of Use
Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms cover your use of pierpointevents.com and the rental, photobooth and planning tools on it. They are written in plain English on purpose. If you book an event with Pierpoint Events, LLC (“Pierpoint”, “we” or “us”), your signed Performance Agreement or rental agreement is the contract for that event, and if anything here differs from it, the signed agreement controls.
Using this site
You may browse, check a date, send an inquiry, order rentals, apply to join the crew and download the files on the Downloads page for your own use. You may not copy the site’s design or content for another business, scrape it, try to break into it, or post anything through our forms that is unlawful, abusive or not yours to post.
Inquiries and quotes
An inquiry, a date check or a conversation with us is not a booking. A date is held only when a Performance Agreement is signed and the deposit is received. Prices quoted on this site, including photobooth and rental prices, are current but can change until your agreement is signed.
Deposits, payments and cancellations
A deposit of 50% of the contract total locks in your date. The balance is due two months before the event, together with your planning details. Payments are not refundable once made, as stated in section D of the Performance Agreement, with one exception: if another client books the date you cancelled, you are refunded in full. Payment methods and links are on your invoice.
Wedding planning on Cue
Wedding date checks and inquiries on this site, and the planning you do with your DJ after booking, run on Cue, a planning platform made by Huttenlocher Technologies LLC (joincue.io). When you use it you also agree to Cue’s terms of service, available at joincue.io. The planning details you enter there (timeline, announcements, must-plays and do-not-plays, vendor contacts) are what your DJ runs the night from, so please keep them accurate and submit them by the final-payment date. Cue is a tool we use to serve you; your contract is with Pierpoint.
Rentals
Rental prices are per day. You pick up in Murrells Inlet, or we deliver and set up by arrangement at the rate quoted when you order. From pickup or delivery until return, you are responsible for the equipment: keep it dry, powered correctly and out of the hands of anyone who does not know how to use it. Damage beyond normal wear, loss or theft is charged at the repair or replacement cost, and days past the agreed return are charged at the daily rate. We may ask for a card on file and a government ID at pickup. Full rental terms are in your order confirmation and rental agreement.
Photobooths, photos and galleries
Photobooth photos are printed on site, shared by text or email when a guest asks, and posted to a gallery on this site within 72 hours of the event. By booking a photobooth you agree to let your guests know that their photos may be printed, shared and posted, and you can ask us before the event to keep your gallery unlisted or private. We may use photos from our events in our own portfolio and marketing (this site, social media, printed materials) unless you tell us not to in writing, and we will take down any photo on request from the client or the person in it.
Accounts
If you create an account for rental orders, keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used it. We can close an account that is used to abuse the site.
Our content
The design, text, logos, photos and videos on this site belong to Pierpoint or are used with permission. Client logos belong to those clients. Software and driver files on the Downloads page belong to their manufacturers and are offered under the manufacturers’ own licenses.
What we do not promise on this site
This site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and information here can be out of date. What we promise for your event is in your signed agreement, not on this page.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Pierpoint is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South Carolina law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any dispute about this website will be heard in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction over Horry County, South Carolina.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
