DJ Stephen Craig

Stephen's journey into professional DJing began in 2010, when he started as an apprentice under the established wedding DJ Alan Dodson in Bristol, Tennessee. That experience gave him the chance to learn the business from the ground up: music selection and crowd interaction, wedding timelines and MC responsibilities, event preparation, equipment, and the countless details that happen behind the scenes to make an event run smoothly.

After working alongside an established professional and helping manage local bridal shows, Stephen began taking on his own events. In 2013, he launched his DJ and MC services in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

As a wedding DJ and MC, Stephen places a strong emphasis on preparation. Rather than simply showing up with a playlist, he works with couples before their wedding to understand their personalities, musical preferences, timeline, important moments and vision for the celebration.

His approach combines music programming with professional MC work, guiding guests through the evening while keeping the reception moving naturally. Stephen has a reputation for spending real time preparing for each event, coordinating with venues and wedding professionals, and paying attention to the small details that make a major difference on the day.

Stephen is also a seasoned South Carolina nightlife DJ, known for keeping dance floors moving and crowds engaged from the first track to last call. With years behind the decks at Molly Darcy's, Sky Bar, Tin Roof, 3001 and nightclubs across the Grand Strand, he brings an instinctive read of the room and a versatile musical style to every set.

From hip-hop and R&B to Top 40, throwbacks, house and party anthems, his sets are built around one thing: reading the crowd and delivering the right song at the right moment. Whether it's a packed club, a beach bar or a major event, Stephen combines professional DJ technique, microphone presence and high-energy entertainment to create an atmosphere people remember.
