We run both, so we do not have a favorite to sell you. Here is how they actually behave at an event.
Open floor booth
A camera station facing a backdrop, out in the room. Guests see other guests taking photos, which is the whole trick: the line forms on its own. Groups of eight fit. The backdrop is a pillowcase-style stretch fabric in the color you pick, so it matches the room.
Best for: weddings, big parties, anywhere you want the booth to be part of the energy. Needs: about ten by ten feet and a plain wall or corner.
Enclosed booth
A white pillow-style enclosure with a glow in any color, and a curtain. Guests step inside, the door closes, and what happens in there is what the prints are for. Three or four people fit comfortably, six if they like each other. It is quieter, and the photos are more candid because nobody is watching.
Best for: corporate events, conferences, holiday parties, any crowd that needs a little privacy to loosen up. Needs: about six by six feet and a power outlet.

How to pick in thirty seconds
Want the booth to be a spectacle in the room? Open floor. Want guests to walk out laughing at something nobody else saw? Enclosed. Still torn? Weddings almost always go open floor; corporate events split evenly.
Reserve a booth and tell us the room; we will recommend one.
Questions people ask
Can the booth run during dinner?
Yes, and that is often the best hour for it. Guests who are not dancers use the booth while the floor warms up.
Do we get the digital photos?
Every photo from the night is in your gallery, free to download, posted within 72 hours.
Can guests share to social media from the booth?
They can text or email themselves the photo on the spot and post from their phone. Most do.
